Ward 5 is ready for a Free DC.

Neighbors and community members came out on Saturday, February 8, for the kickoff celebration of Free DC's Ward 5 Team! This was a chance for Ward 5 neighbors to share food, be together, learn about Free DC's organizing, and brainstorm ways to support one another during this moment and work together for our shared future.

Shout out to the Ward 5 Team members who co-hosted this event and everyone who joined us! It was standing-room only and folks had fantastic ideas about the resources and opportunities we have in this moment.
