Spread the word about Free DC's upcoming Ward 8 meeting through community postering! Join us on Sunday, February 23 to hang posters and fliers throughout Ward 8 about Free DC’s organizing and how people can get involved. This event is being led by members of Free DC’s Ward 8 Team.

Meet us at Busboys and Poets Anacostia (2004 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE) at 10 AM. We'll provide a short orientation and give you all the supplies you need to hang posters. We'll then set off in pairs throughout the Ward — bring a friend to join you, or we'll pair you with someone when we meet.

How will we hang posters?
We expect to hang posters on community bulletin boards as well as wheatpaste posters outdoors and leave fliers with individuals. You can choose to do one, some, or all of these methods.

Is it legal to wheatpaste?
Great question! Yes, wheatpasting is legal in DC. Read DC’s municipal regulations on “Signs, Posters, and Placards.”
