Orientation and Non-Cooperation Theory + Practice for Families

  • Location will be shared upon registration (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us for this special Valentine’s Day offering of our Orientation and Non-Cooperation trainings. This event is open to all, and families in particular are invited to join us. We’ll have Valentine’s themed activities for kiddos while parents get trained up!

Orientation is the place to learn about the attacks DC is facing right now, our strategy to defeat them, and our organizing structures that will make it possible.

Non-Cooperation Theory + Practice is Free DC's advanced training intensive on the key skills involved in effective non-cooperation. This half-day training will teach you what non-cooperation looks like on an individual level, a mass level, and how other movements have used these tactics effectively. Please note: you must attend an orientation prior to joining a non-cooperation training.

Event Schedule (subject to change)

Orientation: 11am to 1230pm

Lunch: 1230 to 130pm

Non-Cooperation Theory + Practice: 130 to 530pm

Participants can attend one training or both, depending on your needs. If you previously attended a campaign orientation, you can join us for non-cooperation only. For additional questions, contact our Training Team at erica@freedcproject.org.

Non-Cooperation Theory + Practice for Jewish Faith Communities

  • Location will be shared upon registration (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Non-Cooperation Theory + Practice is Free DC's advanced training intensive on the key skills involved in effective non-cooperation. Members of Jewish faith communities are particularly invited to attend this training.

The DMV Jewish Labor Bund, IfNotNow DC, Jewish Voice for Peace-DC Metro, the Montgomery County Jewish Collective, and the New Synagogue Project are partnering with Free DC to provide this non-cooperation training. DMV's progressive Jewish community can learn the skills needed to win self-determination for the people of DC, and to fight the threats our communities face from the federal government. Standing in solidarity with our neighbors against fascism is how we build a future of shared safety for Jews, immigrants, and everyone in DC, the US, Palestine/Israel, and around the world.

To build this future will require sustained non-cooperation. Free DC's half-day training will teach you what non-cooperation looks like on an individual level, a mass level, and how other movements have used these tactics effectively. Register to attend using the event form below.
