DC Community Leaders Demand Immediate Withdrawal of All Escalated Federal Forces

DC Community leaders Nee Nee Taylor (Harriet’s Wildest Dreams and Free DC), Keya Chatterjee (Free DC), Nadia Salazar (Colectivo Familas Migrantes), Jesse Rabinowitz (National Homelessness Law Center), and Kelsye Adams (Long Live GoGo and DC Vote) came together at the Federal Forces Out of DC Rally + Press Conference to demand to immediate withdrawal of federal forces from DC.

The occupying federal forces are an ongoing and increasing danger to DC residents. These federal agents are violently profiling, harassing, and arresting Black and Brown DC community members.

They are armed, sometimes unidentified, and moving in gangs through the District confronting people who are simply at home, driving to work, or doing routine daily activities.
