They have tried to federalize DC's local police, destabilize our local finances, roll back key legal protections, undo police accountability measures, repeal locally passed laws, and more. All of this is part of the Trump's regime's efforts to steal our money, evade the law, and cling to power no matter the cost.

Trump's grab for power in DC is a threat to the safety and rights of the people who live here. It is also a direct threat to American democracy and a peaceful transfer of power.
