Press Conference: DC Election Protection and Vote-In

DC’s June primary election will take place at a time when the District is under military occupation and as federal leaders have promised a “summer surge” of increased law enforcement.

The DC Election Protection coalition is a non-partisan partnership to ensure all voters in DC can vote during this primary. To discuss this work and how everyone in DC can work to protect our election this June, the coalition held a press conference on Wednesday, June 3 at 14th & U St NW in DC. Watch the recorded event below.

Thank you to the DC Election Protection coalition members and allies who joined us for this event: Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Advancement Project, the Washington Interfaith Network, Black Swan Academy, and Metropolitan Washington Council AFL-CIO.
