Tell the Senate to respect DC on police, elections, and sanctuary

VOTE NO on H.R. 2096, 884, and 2056

On June 11 and 12, 2025, the U.S. House passed three bills that will attempt to undo local DC laws on how to hold police accountable for misconduct, who can vote in our local elections, and whether local District agencies must participate in this administration’s violent detention machine.

DC residents have had no say in these bills. Undoing local laws against the will of the people is inherently authoritarian and dangerous. DC communities oppose all three of these bills and we want the Senate to VOTE NO on all of them as well as ANY future bills that attack DC’s local governing power. Here’s how you can help defeat these bills.

DC residents: Send letters

Congress has denied DC senators of our own, so we’ve built a tool that lets us contact all of them.

DC residents, use the buttons below to send messages to every U.S. Senator.
The three pages each have identical messages: we send them in batches of 30+ to help make sure they arrive in inboxes. DC residents, send letters at all three of these links:

Non-DC residents: Send letters
