Economic boycotts are a time-tested tool communities can use to hold powerful entities accountable. Just as importantly, we can also redirect our money toward businesses that share our values.

Local Business for a Free DC is a program to build support for and among local businesses that support DC Home Rule and oppose federal attacks on our communities

Join us to canvass businesses in Adams Morgan and invite them to participate in this program. We’ll start with an interactive training for new folks and a short zine-folding/thank you kit making a session for experienced canvassers. Register below to join.

To attend these canvasses, it is ideal if you have attended a Free DC orientation. If you haven’t attended one by the time of the canvass, we will be sure to pair you up with someone who has!
