Economic boycotts are a time-tested tool communities can use to hold powerful entities accountable. Just as importantly, we can also redirect our money toward businesses that share our values.

Local Business for a Free DC builds support for and among local businesses that support DC Home Rule and oppose federal attacks on our communities.

Join us to canvass businesses in the Foggy Bottom in Ward 2 and invite them to participate in this program. We’ll provide materials, a brief training, and you’ll get paired with a partner before going out. Register below to join this canvass.

To attend these canvasses, it is ideal if you have attended a Free DC orientation. If you haven’t attended one by the time of the canvass, we will be sure to pair you up with someone who has!
