Free DC is hosting a Community Art Build day and we want you to come be part of it! Join us on Saturday, March 29 any time between 10 AM and 3 PM to paint banners, print posters, press buttons, and learn the skills it takes to make our demands seen as well as heard!
This event will have facilitated art activities for kids and we’ll provide snacks and pizza lunch. Plus, bring your own t-shirts, totes or other fabric items to get screenprinted with the Free DC logo.
We will be working with permanent paint and ink so if you plan to participate, be sure to wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy.
This event will take place at St. Martin’s of Tours church in the basement Fellowship Hall. There is an ADA accessible entrance on T St. NW and zero steps required from the T St. entrance to enter the hall. The Shaw-Howard University or Rhode Island Avenue Metro Stations are the closest to this venue and it is also accessible via the 80 and P6 Metrobus routes. Street parking is available.
