Every voter in DC should be able to participate in our elections fully and fairly. At a time when DC is under military occupation and the administration is threatening law enforcement “surges,” it’s up to us to protect voters and our right to vote.
DC’s Election Protection Coalition assists and protects voters by answering questions and resolving issues throughout election season. Through the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE, and a trained corps of volunteers in the field, the DC Election Protection Coalition will protect the rights of all voters across DC.
Election Protection Field Volunteers play a key role in this work by being present outside voting locations, assisting voters who might have questions or resolving issues as they evolve. Roles include Election Protection Field Attorney for volunteers with a legal background and Grassroots Poll Monitor for those who do not have a legal background. Additional roles prior to and after the election may be available as well.
Express your interest in becoming an Election Protection Field Volunteer for DC’s general election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Fill out the form below and we will follow up in October with more information about how to get involved.
