Congress has been attacking DC for the last year and a half. It’s time for the representatives responsible for those attacks to start losing their seats.

This fall Free DC is working to flip Virginia’s 5th Congressional District blue and elect Democrat Tom Perriello for Congress. We’ll be canvassing on Labor Day weekend, Indigenous People’s Day weekend, and the Final Weekend before Election Day and you’re invited to join us to make a difference this midterms season.

For Indigenous People’s Day weekend, we will provide bus transportation. Buses will depart from downtown DC and travel to Charlottesville, VA on both Saturday and Sunday, with the option to stay overnight in Charlottesville and canvass both days. For those who can stay the weekend, Free DC will be sleeping at a local church, and you’re welcome to join us!

Free DC will provide light snacks and a box lunch each day, along with training and all materials. Sign up below to talk with voters in VA-5 and do our part to win a Democratic majority in the House this November.
