Freedom Futures Collective (FFC) invites you to the FREE DC Mixtape Release Party, a live celebration of new protest music created with and for our communities in DC and beyond.

Over the past few months, FFC has been teaming up with young artists and organizers from across the city to create an original hip hop mixtape as a sonic response to the ongoing attacks on DC by the current administration. The music on this mixtape was created from the young artists’ real stories and lived experiences, translating their visions of how we rise up, fight back, and build a truly free DC.

The night will feature live performances from FFC’s artists, collaborators, and special guests, debuting tracks from the FREE DC mixtape on stage. We’ll host dedicated listening moments so you can sit with the music, feel the beats, and learn actionable next steps from local organizers helping us build the DC we deserve, today and tomorrow. Pull up to move your body, meet your people, and leave with new connections while celebrating in a space rooted in joy, care, and resistance.
