The Organizing Revival Networks (ORN) will come together for a major civic mobilization in Washington, D.C. on September 15, spearheaded by Popular Democracy and People's Action Institute.

ORN organizations are invited to join and bring their members, leaders, and organizing power into this collective moment. The event will convene 500+ community leaders, organizers, and directly impacted residents for a day of action and election protection training.

Held in the lead-up to National Voter Registration Day, the event aims to center the voices of communities most likely to face disenfranchisement and shift the national narrative from defensive crisis response to proactive organizing to protect our elections.

Like many ORN partners, Popular Democracy and People’s Action Institute are organizing against policies threatening Black, immigrant, LGBTQ, and working-class communities. We believe democracy only works when everyday people are empowered to shape it. Voting is how we influence the decisions that affect our lives — it’s a matter of survival. As we approach the November 2026 midterms, we must prepare for potential efforts by the Trump Administration and other federal and state actors to undermine free and fair elections — and ensure lawmakers are ready to defend our right to vote and the integrity of our elections.
