For our August meeting, Maryland and Virginia Allies will visit the MLK Library to tour the District Vibes/American Pride and Diasporacity exhibits recognizing the role of DC in shaping the country, and of diverse communities in shaping DC. Also on display are exhibits exploring Home Rule, Civil Rights, and the legacy of Mayor Marion Barry. 

After enjoying the exhibits, we’ll meet in a library conference room for zine folding and a (brief) overview of our work in the months ahead. Family and friends are very welcome, as are DC residents.

MLK Library is a one-minute walk from Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro.
