The Chocolate City Experience in collaboration with H Street Mainstreet invites you to a cultural offering and homage to what community feels like. Community members of all ages are invited to show up at the former AutoZone lot on Saturday night for a celebration of Chocolate City, as part of Free DC and other organizations’ celebration of Black August!

Before the celebration starts at 6PM, Free DC will be running a mini orientation 4PM - 5PM. Learn more and register for orientation here!

From the elegance of classic cars to the poetry of double dutch, roller skating, skateboarding, art projections, vendors, and more, this curated experience invites community into a living gallery of joy, resistance and rhythm. The H St x Chocolate City Experience: Wheels Up Edition honors the richness of our past, present, and future.
