Not Another Dollar for ICE: Indoor Press Conference and Rally

  • RSVP for location (map)

The Senate is expected to vote this week on a funding bill that includes funding for the Department of Homeland Security and ICE.

In light of ICE's reckless and lawless behavior, and the agency's blatant lies and unwillingness to hold officers accountable, we are demanding the Senate block all funding for ICE and use their leverage to hold this regime accountable for their actions. Join us on Wednesday, January 28 for an indoor press conference and rally with Free DC, the Center for Popular Democracy, CASA, National Immigration Law Center, Congregation Action Network, and SPACEs in Action.

Register to attend this event using the form on this page. See additional details below the registration form.

Travel conditions
We expect travel conditions will be icy on Wednesday morning in DC, so please allow ample time and caution when traveling to this event.

Post-Rally Office Visits
After the rally, Free DC will lead a delegation of people to deliver letters directly to Senate offices. To do this, we will walk approximately 10 minutes from St. Mark’s Episcopal to the Senate office buildings. The cold and icy weather will make this a bit difficult so please wear a coat, hat, gloves, and/or boots suitable for a 10 minute walk in the extreme cold.

We will have snacks for anyone joining us for the office visits as well as Free DC stickers for everyone to identify you as part of our group.
