DC has been under a hostile military occupation for nearly an entire year, and for 11 days in August we are telling the story of the ways Trump’s occupation has hurt our communities.

August 8: Justice for DC Youth + Film the Police training
U.S. Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro and the DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force pressured DC’s own leaders to criminalize Black and Brown youth and their parents by setting up “Youth Curfew Zones” which criminalize children simply for being outside. Curfew zones expose young people to harassment and incarceration, they have not been shown to work, and they give Trump's agents more ways to arrest all of us, especially Black and Brown people.
