Target was one of the first corporations to obey in advance by rolling back DEI policies. Now the company which is headquartered in Minneapolis has remained silent while the Trump regime attacks communities there. ICE has arrested people inside a Target store, used Target’s St. Paul store to film a propaganda video, and has staged raids from Target parking lots.
Pressure is building. In solidarity with organizers across the country, we want Target to:
Publicly call for an independent investigation into the murder of Renee Good and Alex Pretti
Publicly affirm solidarity with immigrants and opposition to ICE's campaign of terror.
Post signage in all stores denying entry to immigration agents without signed judicial warrants, as required by law.
Restore Target's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Organizers have picketed outside the Columbia Heights Target every single Saturday since the boycott began last year. At the one-year anniversary of that effort, on Saturday January 31 the Boycott Target campaign and Free DC will picket every Target location in DC.
Pick the Target location closest to you, and join Free DC leaders to make it clear we won’t tolerate cooperation with the occupation.
