Taking Action: A Starter Guide to Effective Tactics

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Library, Room 401-A 901 G Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

Want to build Free DC’s organizing in your ward—but not sure where to start? Or are you already involved, but want to make your organizing more effective?

On July 22, join Free DC and Rising Organizers for Taking Action, a hands-on workshop that will help you develop the events, actions, and activities that all movements run on. You’ll learn the steps involved in designing and leading strategic actions, and you'll walk away with a clear understanding of what makes different types of events strategic, tools to pick the right tactic for your goals, and confidence to step into the fight for the District's democracy, no matter your experience with organizing or activism.

If you're part of a Free DC Ward Team, you'll have the opportunity to apply these lessons directly during the workshop. If you're not yet part of our work, you'll have the opportunity to get plugged in. Register for this event using the form below.
