The Future is Free! Join us at the Takoma Park Fourth of July parade to dream of our liberated future.
In its first 250 years, our country has so often failed to live up to the values it claims to hold. Instead of liberation, equality, and justice, we have had slavery, genocide, and exploitation. But we can build something better - and to build it, we have to dream it. This Fourth of July, we will march as the liberated future of our imaginations, where we are free, where we are equal, and where we live in alignment with the earth.
To march, join us at the corner of Carroll Ave and Ethan Allen Ave in Takoma Park at 9 am (time and location may change when we get more information from the parade). The theme for our outfits is Ecofuturism and our colors are silver and green.
