"The Last Battlefront" Film Screening & Mutual Aid Drive

  • Palisades Library 4901 V Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20007 United States (map)

Washington, D.C. is one of the only capitals in the world where citizens have no representation in the national legislature and where Congress and federal authorities routinely intrude on local government.

”The Last Battlefront: Quest for the Vote in Washington, D.C.” is a one-hour documentary film that looks at four turning points in the history of DC to understand how this happened and the struggles of the District’s residents to restore their basic rights of self-government.

We encourage all attendees to bring non-perishable food and/or personal care items (such as soap, toothpaste, deodorant, diapers) to donate to the Ward 3 Mutual Aid Group.
