The Last Battlefront Screening and Panel Discussion

  • Woodridge Library 1801 Hamlin Street Northeast Washington, DC, 20018 United States (map)

Washington, D.C. is one of the only capitals in the world where citizens have no representation in the national legislature and where Congress and federal authorities routinely intrude on local government.

”The Last Battlefront: Quest for the Vote in Washington, D.C.” is a one-hour documentary film that looks at four turning points in the history of DC to understand how this happened and the struggles of the District’s residents to restore their basic rights of self-government.

A post-screening discussion offering insights into the struggle for voting rights and self-government for the citizens of Washington, D.C. will be held immediately after the film.

Join Us at Woodridge Library for The Last Battlefront Movie Screening and Panel Discussion! The Screening and Panel Discussion will take place in Meeting Room 1 on the 1st Floor of the Woodridge Library.
