Join the monthly meeting of the Ward 2 group of Free DC. If you live in Ward 2 and are new to Free DC, this is a great place to start. Meet your neighbors and learn more about how to build the local movement it will take to protect DC home rule and win dignity for our communities.

Rough meeting agenda:
• 6:00 - 6:30 PM: Arrive, social time
• 6:30 - 7:00 PM: Team and Campaign updates
• 7:00 - 8:00 PM: December is a time when many people visit friends and family. We’ll discuss what messages you can bring back to allies across the country about how they can support a Free DC.

December is also a season of giving. We’ll be collecting hats, gloves, and handwarmers to distribute to neighbors who need them. And feel free to bring a holiday treat to share! (Not required!)

Please note the change of location from the last few meetings. This meeting will be in the basement hall of Luther Place Church. The accessible entrance is on the N St side. The church is a 10-15 minute walk from U St, Shaw, Mt. Vernon, Metro Center, and McPherson Square Metro Stations. There is also a D50 bus stop right outside the church.
