Paint more than pumpkins, paint a vision for a freer DC! Join Free DC’s Ward 6 Team for an afternoon of creativity, conversations and community as we mix art, advocacy, and autumn vibes. Bring your imagination, we’ll bring the pumpkins! Let’s make something beautiful (and a little fearless).

We will also be collecting new socks, hats, and gloves for Ward 6 Mutual Aid. Serve Your City serves as the infrastructure hub for Ward 6 Mutual Aid, playing a pivotal role in facilitating and coordinating mutual aid initiatives within our communities. Serve Your City operates under the model of “solidarity, not charity,” providing sustainable support to Black and Brown communities. As we enter the colder months, SYC/W6MA is seeking adult sized hats, gloves, hand warmers and new socks to distribute to our unhoused neighbors. Donations are welcome but not required to participate in pumpkin painting!
