Free DC will be walking in the Palisades, Takoma, and Capitol Hill Fourth of July parades to spread the word about protecting DC’s Sanctuary Values Act, and a forthcoming campaign focused on a corporation that is powering attacks on DC.

Ahead of those events, join the Arts & Culture Working Group for an art build to create the banners and props we’ll use in those parades.

Free DC has several upcoming events and campaigns, and we want your help spreading the word.

On Saturday May 31, Ward Wheatpasting Teams are invited to come to St. Stephen’s Church (1525 Newton St. NW) any time between 12PM and 3PM to pick up a stack of posters, a bucket of wheatpaste, and get an assignment for where to wheatpaste. You will then go out on your own to paste up posters. We strongly encourage you to do this together with other members of your Ward Team.

This wheatpasting session will take place during BREAK THE CURRENT, a teen band showcase happening on Saturday at St. Stephen’s. Please feel free to stay a while and listen to the performances before heading out to hang fliers! Help us know how many fliers to produce by signing up with the form below:
