More than 1,000 DC College Students Walk Out to Protest Federal Occupation

The day before Donald Trump’s 30-day authorization under Section 740 of the Home Rule Act expires, more than 1,000 students from four major Washington, DC, college campuses – Georgetown University, Howard University, George Washington University, and American University – walked out to protest his military occupation of their city.
