Join this training to learn how to be an effective marshall for rallies, actions, and other large events.
Marshalls work as a team to keep people as safe as possible during large gatherings. By guiding participants away from hazards, providing clear signaling and direction, de-escalating conflict as needed, and serving as a recognized point of contact with action leaders, marshalls help every action go smoothly and safely for everyone involved.
This training will prepare in particular for Free DC’s Walk Out on Fascism action on Tuesday, January 20. Anyone interested in serving as a marshall for that event or future events is welcome to participate in this training. We encourage everyone who attends this training to also attend a Free DC Campaign Orientation.
