Join the monthly meeting of the Ward 2 group of Free DC to build the local movement it will take to protect DC home rule and win dignity for our communities.

Team meetings are a chance for us to spend some time together, learn about what's going on in our ward and in the Free DC campaign at large, and do community building activities together.

All are welcome, bring friends!

Agenda:

• 6:00-6:30 – Arrive and socialize

• 6:30-7:00 – Team, Ward, and other Free DC updates

• 7:00-8:00 – This meeting, we’ll focus on preparing for the Jan 20 Walk Out (https://freedcproject.org/event-list/walkout) by having a mini art build! We’ll have some posters and markers available, or bring your own. While we’re making posters we’ll give some updates on how we’re organizing in our ward, how you can join us, and answer any questions you have. This time also overlaps with the FreeDC informational session about the same thing, so we might try to listen in.

MLK Library is located one block away from the Gallery Place Metro Station (9th St & G St NW exit) on the Red, Green, and Yellow lines.
