Tell Speaker Johnson: Pass the DC Local Funds Act

The DC Local Funds Act has been sitting on Speaker Mike Johnson's desk for nearly three weeks — and everyone from President Trump to Mayor Bowser to a unanimous U.S. Senate agrees that this bill needs to move immediately. On Thursday April 10, the House will break for recess and if the House does not pass it before that time, this bill runs the risk of never passing at all.

How to take action, April 7:

  1. Join us on Monday, April 7 to visit House Offices. Find us at the Longworth Cafeteria from 9:30 AM until 3:00 PM to get a quick orientation, letters to deliver, and office assignments. Download a copy of the letter we are delivering.

  2. Call priority Members of Congress using our call script.

  3. Send a letter to House Leadership using the form below:
