Congress is attempted to destabilize DC’s finances for the third time in Trump’s second term.

Trump’s Safe and Beautiful Executive Order, a bill introduced by Pennsylvania Republican dictates how DC manages its own streets, and a 2027 defense bill that would expand and indefinitely extend the National Guard presence in DC.

The bill, introduced by Congressman John McGuire (R-VA-5), calls for “the maximum enforcement of federal immigration law,” “facilitating the deployment of a more robust federal law enforcement presence,” and more.

H.R. 5103 would massively expand federal police, guns, immigration enforcement, and imprisonment of people in DC in order to suppress dissent and prevent a transfer of power.

We want members of Congress to vote NO on every bill against DC. Members and candidates for Congress are invited to sign the Free DC pledge, to always side with DC residents — not attacks.
